Some interesting data from a top 5 D1 women’s soccer team 1. 4 of the 5 best players on the team failed the beep test 2. 3 of those who didn’t get the “passing,” number had the 3 highest MPH sprint speeds on the team

Being a part of a sports team means attending practice daily, not missing workouts, investing in the team daily & leading/supporting leaders. It's what makes the team great and inadvertently grows us as teammates. The same is true for the Church. Attendance and investment matter.

Follow up to yesterdays spring sport tweet. The best conditioning for wks 1-2 is no conditioning. The running volume is already overwhelming. Coaches need to stop coaching like it’s 1979. PS-“wind sprints” are not a thing. 2-3 short sprints (10 yd)early in practice is speed work.
