1. Credible timing is more about protocols and procedures first and then making sure splits correlate with an acceptable margin of error. Seeing players running 10 yard splits with 40 times that are way off.

If you are timed with any credibility whatsoever, you need to understand that if you run in the 4.7 or faster, you are literally in the Top Percentile of HS athletes!

Overemphasis on things like ankle mobility is a symptom of our field being too barbell-centric.

Dorsiflexion is great if you want to do oly lifts and squatty squats.

But then look at the fastest athletes. The best jumpers. Try to count how many have ankles that are β€œtoo stiff.”
