A couple months ago, I saw a pair of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers mobbing a Red-tailed Hawk. Not unusual. But then the female gnatcatcher LANDED on the hawk's head!

Yeah, it’s amazing how she found this tiny patch. The chances there are any more field pussytoes within 300 m are slim. I do have some in my garden ~350 m away. I’d better check if I have any of these cats!
