Earlier this week we said goodbye to our colleague Noel Rice who has retired after 5 years with BHP. Noel has been instrumental in the Wildlife Connections project & most recently The Wildfire22 Conference. We wish him all the best & many years of happy retirement!

Just a reminder on how to react if you see a #wildfire around the Belfast Hills.

While the good weather is great it also increases the risk of wildfire in the hills. Please behave responsibly & avoid any naked flames. Last weekend's wildfire up on National Trust NI Divis looks to have been caused by (unauthorised!) campers 🔥 Report smoke or fires to ☎️ 999

Please be vigilant this weekend if you are on the Hills or have a good view of them from your home. If you see a wildfire please report it immediately to 999 and do not try to tackle the blaze yourself. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
