Please do not visit a patient in hospital or a resident in a healthcare facility if you have any symptoms of #flu. You must postpone your visit until at least 48 hours after symptoms have cleared. Please help us to keep sick and vulnerable people safe from infection 🙏

Today, Minister Carroll MacNeill Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD turned the sod on the site of the new 42 ward block development at SUH. A key priority for SUH is to increase and expand patient facilities to meet the growing demand for acute hospital services in our region.

The second CT scanner was officially opened by Minister Carroll MacNeill in SUH today as part of her visit. The service will be operational from May 5 2025 and will greatly add to the diagnostic capacity at the hospital; reducing waiting times for patients.
