I joined current and former colleagues Namibian Presidency to listen to Pres Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah delivering an epic lecture on what it means to be a public servant. The attentive listener was left with a sense of inspiration and guilt. Are we doing enough as public servants?
A paparazzi shot: En route to a meeting using an alternative mode of transport, the bicycle. Cycling should be promoted. Sadly, the City of Windhoek City of Windhoek is indifferent about pedestrians and cyclists.
A happy 84th Birthday to our 4th President Dr Nangolo Mbumba. Craftily led the mothership Namibian Presidency and the Namibian people during dark days after the death of Dr Hage G. Geingob. He kept on reminding us that through our collective tears, the nation should continue.
Maurice Tempelsman, a friend of Namibia and the diamond industry passed away. A friend of Dr Hage G. Geingob May peace be upon him (alav hashalom)
H.E Nandi-Ndaitwah- As we remember the Heroes Day, it is important to recognise the immense contributions made by our former Presidents in securing a peaceful, stable and proud nation for the past 35 years; and honour their legacies as pillars of our democracy. President Netumbo Ndemupelila Nandi-Ndaitwah
I joined Alka Bhatia, the outgoing UNDP Namibia Resident Representative for the UNDP@60 celebration and her farewell as she exits Namibia. She did a fantastic job!
Great working meeting with my former colleague in @namibianpresidency - Hon. Inge Zaamwani - our industrious and passionate Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform.
Gerson Shikukumwa Gerson Ingashipola Shikukumwa offers an interesting critique, a must read for policymakers and all of us who are interested in breaking patterns of colonial land ownership. Well done to this young Namibian!
MTC did a great job with Fashion Week - I joined other Namibains for the Ovaherero Fashion event, which can only grow from strength to strength. A good display of their traditions. Well done MTC Namibia and Tim Ekandjo!
