A National Moment of Reflection will take place with a one-minute silence at 8pm tonight to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and reflect on her life and legacy.

We've welcomed back over 200 officers from across the CNC who have been deployed as part of Operation London Bridge. Deployments included Westminster Hall where the Queen was lying in state, the Long Walk at Windsor and Stanstead Airport. gov.uk/government/new…

This week we've hosted officers from the French Gendarmerie Nationale at Civil Nuclear Constabulary HQ where we've discussed operational issues that are common to us both. As an organisation we always seek to learn and share best practice with partners in the UK & Internationally.

Elizabeth was a PC on C Section at Sellafield when I started in CNC. She was always a very kind and thoughtfull person. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace.

I remember PD Bunty visiting our office at @CNC_Sellafield as a young puppy. Great to see she's now one of our highly trained detection dogs helping us to undertake our mission to protect the public by safeguarding nuclear material.

Today marks 36 years in uniform and what better way to spend it than at a wedding with my old mate Billy who I walked through the gates of Old Park Barracks with on this day all those years ago.
