Mills St off Cross Ave has been landscaped by Dún Laoghaire Tidy Towns over the past couple of months and the results are beautiful. The team of volunteers are doing trojan work greening areas in the town centre and making the town better for everyone who lives and works here. 🙏

Blackrock feels like a destination now and is somewhere you are tempted to go to for coffee, meal, etc. It was bleak before and felt like a road rather than a village. Loads of great eateries have sprung up in recent years. The changes were transformative.

Great to see more of these car-free streets around schools springing up around Dublin.

Going to make it safer for pedestrians & cyclists, inc students IADT Dún Laoghaire Monkstown ETNS Will be even better when it links to improved Mounttown Rd & DLR Living Streets. This needs to be taken seriously. Just today saw a child (10 yrs old) scooting on pavement in front of a vehicle waiting to exit St Joseph's Lane onto Tivoli Rd. The child was below bonnet height & within a foot of car. Fortunately, driver noticed child coming from side.
