School Libraries are absolutely vital, as are school librarians who put books into the hands of teens. I've had students tell me that the library saved their life. I do not take messages like that lightly. Book banners don't read books, they operate through fear and ignorance.

This is a great article and I can also say that we have more boys using the library than girls in our school and this has been the case for a while. Boys DO read and they love joining in with library led events.
