Two of our Yr 9 students are campaign champions for Send My Friend. They attended a leadership course at the weekend and learned that 251 million children worldwide don’t get an education. They will campaign at school and at parliament during the year for fairness Laurence Turner


Five of our students joined with Kenelm Youth Trust and other young people from Birmingham Diocese today St Thomas Aquinas School- Outstanding School, to participate in a moving performance of jo boyce ‘Born for This’ A wonderful preparation for Easter.



Our charity day began in prayer, followed by a sponsored walk, a cake sale, bongo bingo, staff egg and spoon race and Adoration in the chapel all day - all in aid of our Lenten charity Science and Innovation at Cancer Research UK


Our students learnt a lot on their training day in preparation for the Lourdes pilgrimage. They are now able to push a wheelchair safely. Please send any prayer intentions. Kenelm Youth Trust


A moving end of term Mass reflecting on Holy Week and Easter. Fr Michael Dolman St. Mary's Seminary, Oscott celebrated a beautiful Mass, focusing on the Year of Hope. We remembered all those affected with cancer as our charity this Lent is Cancer Research.


Today we have begun our Year 8 residential retreat at Alton Castle with 74 students. The sun is shining. The students have already done a trek, bike riding, crate stacking and low ropes. Kenelm Youth Trust


We finished our wonderful retreat at Alton Castle with a beautiful Mass. Fr Chris celebrated the Mass with the Alton team. The students read well and sang. They are sad to be leaving after a fantastic sunny few days away. Kenelm Youth Trust



Our ‘Send my friend to School’ campaign champions have been working with our Year 7 chaplaincy change makers to develop awareness of how many children in the world don’t get an education. They have created stunts to raise awareness. Send My Friend


Our student read beautifully at The Blessing of Hands Mass at St Chads Cathedral today. It was a wonderful preparation for our Pilgrimage to Lourdes which begins next Saturday RC Birmingham St Thomas Aquinas School- Outstanding School


Canon Gary Buckby lead a beautiful Mass at St Dunstan's Church today for schools in our deanery. Fr Toby encouraged the students to be open to the vocation God is calling us to be. Thank you BC Chaplaincy for organizing the readers.


Our students challenged our MP Laurence Turner today about why we aren’t doing more for asylum seekers who arrive in difficult conditions to flee dangerous situations in their own countries Birmingham Schools of Sanctuary 🧡


Our campaign champions for Send My Friend gave a passionate talk today asking our MP Laurence Turner to give more aid to countries where millions of children don’t get an education- especially girls. He listened and gave them a detailed answer. They will meet him again in parliament





Part 1 of our day at the Houses of Parliament challenging Baroness Chapman to prioritize education globally. We performed a stunt outside Parliament wearing our Send My Friend T Shirts. A tour of the chapel too.


2:The Houses of Parliament involved a drop in session with MPs telling them about our Send My Friend campaign. We said about how many don’t get an education, especially girls and refugees. Our own MP Laurence Turner visited and told us about issues he is following up. Thank you
