Bartholomew Park is OPEN for business!

Bartholomew Park will be closed today for the #AlaskaFire

We have a house fire in the area of 800 E. 400 N. Please avoid the area.

SVFD, Mapleton FD and Provo PD are clear from the house fire.

We have a small power outage affecting 1600 homes on the East side. This was caused by a traffic accident. Our power department is on-scene. There is no timeline yet. SpringvilleDPS

Power should be coming back on!

We are investigating a shooting that occurred near 1600 S. SR-89 at 2:00 AM. The 29 yo victim has passed away. More information will be released as it becomes available.

The victim from yesterday shooting has been identified as, Lazaro A. Nieves, 29 years old from Springville. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time. We will have more information about the case tomorrow.

We will be available for comment on the homicide case at 2pm. Media is asked to meet at the Springville Civic Center, 110 S. Main St.

We are receiving earthquake reports from Logan to Riverton. The strongest shaking seems to have been felt around Salt Lake County. The power has been knocked out in some areas. #utquake

Avoid 400 S. (SR-77) at 1200 W. We have a five car accident that just occurred.

We have an injury accident at 900 N. Main. A power pole was hit, Springville Power is aware of the problem. Please avoid the area.
