This was the moment we finished our charity challenge - the Fenathlon! 36 miles from Woodwalton Fen to Ouse Fen to Wicken Fen in one day raising money for The Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs & Northants, rspb and National Trust to protect the Cambridgeshire Fens! It was a bit emotional! givewheel.com/fundraising/66…

Finally: RSPB founder Emily Williamson is given her own half hour on BBC Radio 4 - and it felt pretty amazing sitting round the table with two other women, discussing her life.

A great listen - thanks to Hannah Bourne-Taylor for nominating RSPB founder Emily Williamson, and to Matthew Parris for bringing together Hannah with the fab Tessa Boase who has done so much to tell Emily's story and Rebecca Speight who is now at the head of the flock!

A teenage Charlie with Maddy our terrier. The hunts would have you believe that hunting dogs hunt instinctively, they do not, they have to be trained. Maddy was bred by terrier men and yet has helped to raise and become best friends to 3 foxes.

The warning couldn’t be clearer. āš ļø Slashing the nature-friendly farming budget would be catastrophic for the nature and climate crisis, and for our long-term food security. What's more, it would leave the UK Government’s credibility on climate and nature in tatters.

70% of UK land is farmed. If we want nature to recover, this is where it happens. Farmers like James Rebanks are already doing it – farming with wildlife, not against it. But without proper funding, we risk losing it all. Rachel Reeves: increase funding, grow our future.
