So Defra has now extended their flawed consultation on 'badger control' from Monday to 13 May. They need to see sense and stop culling badgers when the disease is mainly spread (94%) cattle to cattle. 230,000 badgers have already been killed - it needs to end #endthecull

I also look at the numbers of badgers killed since 2012 in England because of bovine TB with Badger Trust saying: 'It doesn’t work in bTB control – it never has.'
They have raised serious concerns the protected species is becoming locally extinct in some areas of the UK
The current UK government’s slide into backtracking on a promise to #EndtheCull seems a political tactic to meet particular interests
