Join us at the Scottish Parliament from 11th-13th March for the Scottish Coastal Clean Up Exhibition. Learn firsthand about the challenges beach cleaners all around Scotland face, from tackling remote pollution hotspots to dealing with the overwhelming volume of marine litter.

We are having a great time in Scottish parliament this week, hanging out in the members lobby and chatting to MSP's about all things beach cleaning! Big thanks to all those who have dropped by for a chat so far!

Some days it’s massive creels and tyres. Other days, it’s heartbreak in miniature, like this tiny bay in the NW of Scotland. What we found was devastating: a shoreline blanketed in plastic confetti. Microplastics everywhere!

From a distance, these beaches could star in a Scottish tourism campaign, wild, beautiful, seemingly untouched. But as we walk or boat in to clean them, the heartbreaking truth comes into focus: plastic pollution is everywhere. Nature deserves better.
