Started 2nd round of senior peace delegation meeting under leadership of HE Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in Doha, Qatar. The only solution to the conflict in Afghanistan is through meaningful negotiation to reach a political settlement. 43 years of conflict must end. Afghan people want peace!
We concluded the 2nd senior Afghan peace negotiation meeting in Doha, Qatar. We are grateful to our host Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Qatar and HE Dr Qahtani for their kind hospitality and facilitating the meetings. Keeping the door of peace negotiation open is crucial to reaching a lasting peace.
