As we all know, Dunnes Stores on George's Street Upper in DĂșn Laoghaire has been sitting vacant for the guts of 20 years. Well, finally some good news! Dunnes have been hit with the new land hoarding tax so will be forced to put these buildings to good use. Fianna FĂĄil wanted

As a swimmer and a long-time advocate for safer bathing water, I want to see real-time water testing. 🙌Well at last, we’re going to see some progress on this. DĂșn Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council have been successful in securing €1.2 million to research and develop a better approach to monitoring bathing

Let’s go #GE24 đŸŒ± I’ve got some new posters going up and re-using a lot of my old ones - saving some plastic and money. Some of my posters are 10 years old. I hope I still look the same

Every other party loves to talk about climate action & stick a few wind turbines on their manifestos. But when it comes down to it, the environment & public transport will not be given priority in the next government if we aren’t in there. The others will always find reasons

Earlier today, I saw an SUV driver (obviously) turning left at this junction near DĂșn Laoghaire, and blasting her horn at a cyclist who was going straight on. She literally thought she had priority. Just a few months ago, a 22-year-old woman was killed at the same spot.

Why don’t more people live above shops? 🏬 I recently chatted to a local business owner in DĂșn Laoghaire who successfully converted the space above their shop to see what it takes but also to find out what challenges are standing in the way... đŸŒ±

We all welcome widespread 30km/h limits in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown. Everyone will be safer, especially children; and motorists will find that they experience fewer collisions.

Safer Active Travel infrastructure? Haven't PBP councillors voted and fought against active travel projects on all councils they sit on? Citing the impact on their hard-pressed motorising constituents?
