Grateful to United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres for our constructive call on Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Burma yesterday. I welcome the UN’s partnership in working to end these and many other conflicts around the world.

Heartbreaking to see how brave and fierce Angel, Kyal Sin, was until she was brutally killed. Military showed no respect for the deceased by digging up her grave. She enjoyed dancing and Taekwondo. cnn.com/videos/world/2…

Today I told the UN HR Council the Myanmar junta knows all about weapons of war but are at a loss how to deal with weapons of peaceful resistance wielded by a determined people defending their nation & their children's future. They need & deserve the UN to stand with & for them.

The Secretary-General António Guterres is "appalled by the escalating violence in #Myanmar at the hands of the country’s military. The killing of demonstrators, arbitrary arrests and the reported torture of prisoners violate fundamental human rights."

The picture shows Min Aung Hlaing's illegitimate terrorist groups using machine guns against the people and the protestors. This obviously clear #HumanRightsViolations and they are committing #CrimesAgainstHumanity. They all must be held accountable for these atrocities.

An important statement from Dr. Sasa on CRPH Myanmar’s commitment to deliver justice for #Rohingya. “In 2017, these same generals, perpetrators, could have killed thousands of our brothers and sisters Rohingya. They are human beings.” #Myanmar
