Students from the Survival Literature seminar worked with Midwest Woodcraft today to learn basic survival skills. They made shelters, learned how to start a fire, & about edible wild plants. They’ll use this knowledge to make connections to in-class reading. #ExperientialLearning

After learning about the issue of food insecurity, students in the Sustainable Foods seminar prepared several trays of baked mostaccioli, garden salad, and fruit salad for residents of Lazarus House. #CommunityConnected
