First Responders students had the opportunity to earn American College of Surgeons - Stop the Bleed certification today, thanks to some members of the emergency medicine department at Delnor Hospital, who generously volunteered to teach these lifesaving skills. #CTE #d303learns

First Responders students learned how to use glass breakers, prying tools, & hydraulic rescue tools, including the Jaws of Life, in vehicular rescue scenarios under the guidance of STC Fire Dept. Thanks @cityofstcharlesil FD for this incredible experiential learning opportunity!

We celebrated the last session of First Responders after students did final interviews. In class, they earned CPR/AED & Stop the Bleed certifications, learned & applied skills in fire/rescue, 911 dispatch, & police investigation. Thanks City of St. Charles, IL Tri-Com911 for the support!
