In her most disgraceful veto yet, Governor Hobbs struck down a bipartisan bill to stop antisemitism in Arizona schools. I am deeply disappointed by her decision—paying lip service to opposing antisemitism while backing away from a law with real teeth. Instead of standing with

I am proud of Steve Montenegro and the rest of Arizona House Republicans leadership for moving the ball down the field on Prop 123, a measure that will codify school choice in the AZ Constitution. President Trump has long made it clear that the fight for school choice is the Civil Rights

I’ll make this simple, I’m voting NO on the budget coming from the Senate. Not because it’s a bipartisan budget, but because I’m philosophically opposed to all the backroom deals that were made to get it passed. This isn’t what we were elected to do & I won’t play this game.

Today the AZSenateRepublicans submitted to Katie Hobbs and passed a budget handing Arizona to the radical left on a silver platter: 🔴 $$$ for Adrian Fontes to register illegals to vote 🔴 State level CISA censorship operation 🔴 No checks and balances on Kris Mayes’ political

The Arizona Freedom Caucus is opposed to the Hobbs-Petersen Democrat budget. Their budget is stuffed full of pork and Democrat policy victories. The Republican-controlled legislature is supposed to hold the power of the purse, but unfortunately that power was handed over to

Last week, the Arizona State House passed the greatest state budget in modern history with UNANIMOUS REPUBLICAN SUPPORT. This should have been an easy vote for my colleagues in the Senate. It should not be hard to do right by the people of Arizona. Unfortunately, many of my

There is a lack of serious people in Phoenix. Politicians from both sides of the aisle are entirely uninterested in doing right by the Arizona people.

Iran gave President Trump no choice. For a decade he has been adamant that Iran will never get a nuclear weapon. Iran decided to forego diplomacy in pursuit of a bomb. This is a surgical strike, operated perfectly. President Trump acted with prudence and decisiveness.

Calling the Hobbs Budget a “bipartisan, balanced, and a fiscally responsible budget” is moronic at best. Governor Hobbs is either entirely delusional or blatantly gaslighting the Arizona people. Bottom line: She is dead wrong. The budget has doubled in less than a decade,

Stop calling them "public" schools They aren't open to the public They aren't accountable to the public They are run by government They are regulated by government They are assigned by government They are compelled by government They are government schools.

The Hobbs Budget is an Arizona Last proposal. It prioritizes the powerful and does little to nothing for the people. Speaker Steve Montenegro and I do not agree on everything, but I greatly appreciate his leadership on this. Like me, and the majority of my colleagues in the

Arizona taxpayers spend hundreds of millions of dollars EVERY YEAR sending wealthy families to public schools, but no one bats an eye. Arizona ESA is here to stay: children deserve education options! Remind me how much ESAs save the state? If every kid went back to public

Michael Way (@michaelwayaz) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Our legislature sent two separate budgets to Katie Hobbs. She vetoed them both. She believes that Arizona is her autocracy to dictate. That is not how the legislative process works. We, as duly elected representatives, control the power of the purse, not her. I am saddened by

UNBELIEVABLE: Arizona public schools are stockpiling $7.8 BILLION in taxpayer funds. ESA families educate with LESS funding, and are better stewards of taxpayer dollars. Why are taxpayers footing the bill for wealthy families in public schools at DOUBLE the cost?

Nick Kupper (@realnickkupper) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Solid point! Governor Katie Hobbs just took a victory lap because the bipartisan budget she signed “Fully funds K-12 education” but now when she speaks of ESAs she says public schools are under funded… Which is it Katie Hobbs?

Brahm Resnik Craig Harris Let’s play devils advocate for a moment. If ESA parents are able to educate their children with about 2/3 of the funding that a public school receives per pupil & still afford to use that school money for a home ec item like this, then it sounds like the parent is more efficient

WHAT?! Students on ESA are allowed under statute to get tickets to zoos, museums, and field trips. The location of the museum or zoo is irrelevant under the statute, therefore his implication that parents are doing something wrong is pure rhetoric and disingenuous messaging.
