Don’t forget what they have done. Partygate, the Covid contracts, the lies, the kickbacks. The cronyism, the failure to invest, the division and scapegoating, the trips to the bookies, the Liz Truss mini-budget, the decimation of your public services. Don’t forget any of it. 🧾

When you watched Johnson lie every fucking day, you had no power. When you found out the Tories gave billions to their mates, you had no power. When your mortgage increased because of that useless twat Truss, you had no power. Tomorrow you have power. Use it #GeneralElection

6 Chancellors in 6 years. 6 Health Secretaries in 5. 9 Education Secretaries in 9. If they were a Head Teacher, their school would be in Special Measures. If they ran a branch of a bank, they’d be under arrest. A disgraceful rabble unfit for office: take them away!

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

I do not seek to influence. Just to remind. These are the venal crumbs we have been governed by. The nastiest lousiest gang of looters it has been the misfortune to be in power in my lifetime. Vote accordingly tomorrow.

Isley is one of the most exciting writers of her generation. The Swell Orange Tree Theatre was my favourite script of last year, Skin A Cat one of my favourite ever debuts, her Most Promising Playwright award Standard Culture hugely deserved. I can’t wait to see another Isley TRANS SOLIDARITY Lynn show!

Isley is the rare friend whose show invites never fill you with dread because the shows are always great and, having seen a preview of this, her record remains unbeaten

Best part of the job - watching brilliant artists share beautiful ideas with the team over 2 hours of laughter. Can't wait for these to come to your stages and screens.

So excited for Dayo - a new series regular on the mighty BBC EastEnders. A proper reward for decades of graft and huge talent. Access All Areas are doing brilliant work supporting Dayo and the EE team - really proud of our contribution. Cannot WAIT for the first doof-doofs.

the main thing i find redundant about talking about “my journey” in the arts is the fact that most of it is: “i did this scheme that doesn’t exist anymore, then these programmes that don’t exist anymore, then got funding from this fund that doesn’t exist anymore…”
