Congrats to our own Regan Stephenson for receiving an NIH NIBIB T32 Immunoengineering Training Grant. This grant will support Regan's work examining how fibrillar collagen influences macrophage phenotype in the context of breast cancer. Way to go Regan!

Matrix mineralization is important for bone health but how it regulates metastatic tumor growth was unknown. Siyoung Choi and Matt Whitman Cornell BME now found that bone matrix mineralization inhibits tumor growth with an interesting twist!
