This news brought me to tears. I last saw Steve and his wife at CompuServe's 50th anniversary event in October 2019. Steve was a creative genius and a kind, self-effacing man who persevered through tragedy and cared about everyone. Harry McCracken's tribute is superb.

Despicable is the word that came to mind when I heard what Matt Gaetz said today. Criticizing women, or anyone, for being well-educated and for exercising their civil liberties is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I will not quote his disgusting nonsense.

None of us should accept a future in which our daughters and granddaughters have fewer rights than we did.

Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.

You truly understand, Barack Obama. Those on the Supreme Court who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade have completely lost touch with reality. This is indeed a personal decision, not a political one. I will always support the right to choose.
