What a joke “replay assist” is. You either have a challenge available or you don’t. So arbitrary the way this is enforced. Glad to hear Collinsworth is calling the league out.

I don’t know why Kiner-Falefa glanced back to see if the line drive was caught. He was so far off the base he was gonna get doubled off if it was caught. He’s safe at third without that hesitation.

6-2. The game against Plano was called at halftime due to inclement weather and declared a no-contest. (The score was 10-7.) But thanks for this well-deserved honor. What a story this team is writing.

District 6-6A champ Richardson Football taking care of business against Haltom, up 21-0 at the half. QB Lucas Sawyer can spin it, and he has a slew of talented receivers to throw to. They catch everything.

Ironman! One of my enduring images will be the sight of Marcus turning back toward the dugout in celebration as he rounded first after hitting the 3-run bomb in the ninth inning of Game 5 in Arizona. Thank you, Marcus!

No wrapup to a Cowboys game is complete without getting the take of one ⁦Jake Kemp⁩. Especially after what transpired on Sunday. You’re really going to want to clear a couple of minutes to read this one. dmagazine.com/sports/2025/11…

And yet the committee moved Houston back into the rankings (at 21!) after a seven-point win over 5-7 Houston, a week after losing at home to a 4-loss TCU team. Cougars also own a 10-point loss at home to 4-8 West Virginia. 21st? Seriously?

Somebody has to explain to me how that Virginia receiver got forced out of bounds. Looks like to me he went out on his own. And then you don’t even stop to review it?

Good but not great movie. As I like to say, everyone needs an editor. Could’ve been about 20 minutes shorter. Intrigued enough that I’m gonna read the book.
