We're in the process of developing a #MarineSpatialPlan for the #Maldives. We're working with the government, stakeholders, communities & more to ensure the future Plan is as inclusive as possible. Stay tuned for ways to get involved and provide feedback on the Plan!

Can't imagine our sandy Island lanes any other way. Why can't we line them up with ornamental plants? The whole premise that roads are for vehicles need to change. Roads are public spaces. Roads are for pedestrian, kids people young and old. We need to re-imagine our roads.

I am amazed by the emergent behavior, community cohesion, and resilience in responding to this island level emergency. More intrigued by the women led ingenuity of a "bucket brigade," utilizing a very primitive method of firefighting. 📸 G.Dh Kolamaafushi Council facebook page.

The 10% salary cut is a smokescreen: 💰 Previous govt: 721 positions, MVR 18M/month 💸 Current govt: 2,500 positions, MVR 56.2M/month They're trying to distract you with a 6.2M 'saving' while spending an extra 38.2M every month. Reminds me of Venezuela's Maduro who used
