Recently re-read this superb piece from Tom Geraghty...I’ve been talking about the subtle potential harm of "don’t bring me problems; bring me solutions" for 20 years, and this article is a thoughtful treatment of the topic 📖 Read here: psychsafety.co.uk/bring-me-solut…

💯 This from Amy Edmondson and Tom Geraghty The idea that leaders only want solutions, not problems, has never made sense to me. As a leader, I find it far more valuable and important to tackle the most important questions and challenging problems with my team.

The fact that this NMC panel chair felt is was OK to refer this nurse representative, and the NMC then spent 7 months considering the referral - and the chair has not been removed from chairing future panels - says everything about what's wrong at the NMC independent.co.uk/news/health/bl…

This is really important from Ash James 💭 Physiotherapists are regulated and are an asset to the primary care team. We should not let different debates about funding mechanisms and lack of GP locum work, cloud the fact that FCPs provide an essential service for patients

Lesson 101 as to how much nurse leaders have 'done' to tackle the issue of #Racism Producing documents & writing tweets makes no difference-bar personal 'achievements' via gongs & titles And along with NHS England Workforce, Training and Education -you-ALL- propagate this #racism Shameful theguardian.com/uk-news/articl…

bbc.co.uk/sport/football… Good article Nedum Onuoha but let’s have the courage to also call out the elephant in the room that leads people to rush to those conclusions based on expectations of how young black men should behave

“The Football Association remains committed to diversity in the England men’s senior team coaching staff” according to The Guardian There is nothing worse than lip service England Football The evidence suggests it’s clearly not a priority
