Farzana Hussain The King's Fund Sarah Woolnough John James OBE Sickle Cell Society I like .Don Berwick Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) concept of ‘All teach, all learn’ that everyone we meet have experiences to share and learn from wherever we are in our lives and careers. We all work in hierarchies that can stop us from sharing the real stories that connect us & inspire us to do more

Had a fabulous time at The King's Fund Annual Reception this evening. Inspiring speech from Sarah Woolnough: what a role model for us women! Thank you for helping me with a quiet space to pray too. True inclusivity. With so many video meetings it was great to hug again!

Farzana Hussain Chris Hopson GPonline One of the big leaps politicians, the press and many NHS leaders make is equating “access to GP appointments when needed” is the same as being able to get an appt with a GP on the day symptoms occur/the day you ring up. But that’s far too simplistic + is not always what’s needed.
Thanks for this thread Chris Hopson we need to realise that there is a difference between “need” and “want” Jacob Lant recently did a podcast GPonline outlining how nuanced access is- I realise that it’s easier to measure numbers but let’s not equate this with quality
It was an absolute pleasure to work with you West Ham United Foundation We together proved how effectively Primary Care Networks can work with fabulous voluntary sector organisations such as yours to tackle difficult issues in our communities such as Knife Crime. Shame the funding ceased
