Excited to share the work from Noah “MC” Lee in the lab. Noah found a way to use Lenti-Cre and implement the Tuba-seq platform developed by Monte Winslow's Lab with the Dmitri Petrov lab in a mouse model of #SCLC, identifying TSC1 as a tumor suppressor in vivo biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Oncogene-negative lung adenocarcinomas afflict as many patients as those driven by either oncogenic KRAS or EGFR. Our paper in Cancer Research uncovers biochemical drivers and therapeutic liabilities of these cancers. Great collaboration with Dmitri Petrov lab! doi.org/10.1158/0008-5…

Fantastic meeting at #cshlcancer22 ! Great to spend time with the very first Winslow lab grad student Debbie Caswell and the most recent @EmilyAshkin ! Many generations of science!!

Had a fantastic time learning about ongoing research in #pancreaticcancer at the Pancreas Cancer Research Symposium at Stanford University. Was amazing to catch up with Sohinee from Mara Sherman Lab and Katie Hanson from the Attardi lab!!

NEW review out today published with Springer Nature in Nature Reviews Cancer by our very own Jess Hebert American Cancer Society !! rdcu.be/dbfSR #Metastasis #MouseModels #Methods

SCI member Monte Winslow's Lab explores key variables in designing assays for studying #metastasis, preclinical models, and potential anti-metastatic therapies. bit.ly/3K3EJ5y

Amazing collaboration between Emily Shuldiner and Alberto Diaz using somatic genome editing to model 60 different genotypes of EML4-ALK lung cancer. Genetics say that Variant 1 and Variant 3 should be considered distinct oncogenes SotilloLab biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to be part of this study by Tony Boutelle Laura Attardi on the key effectors of p53 in cancer. We love quantifying gene effects in tumors in vivo. p53->Zmat3 is an important axis during lung tumor initiation Haiqing Xu Dmitri Petrov biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Newest preprint from @EmilyAshkin in our lab! Critical roles of a STAG2 cohesin-PAXIP1/PAGR1 tumor-suppressive axis in lung cancer in vivo. Might transcend cancer type. Amazing collaboration with Zhichao Xu 徐志超 Jesse Dixon @HaiqingXu3@PetrovADmitri biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

So excited to welcome the new Stanford Cancer Biology PhD Program students in the annual labcoat ceremony!

Congratulations Dian Yang who did his PhD with Julien Sage and I some time ago… Stanford Cancer Biology PhD Program. Looking forward to some innovative things from him!

🚨🚨Now online Nature Cancer, my postdoc work in The Charles Sawyers Lab with dana_peer 🚨🚨 we establish a powerful organoid transplantation model of prostate cancer neuroendocrine transformation. Open access for all! HHMI nature.com/articles/s4301… A 🧵... /1

I'm thrilled to share our new study of the spatial evolution of Kras;p53-driven mouse lung adenocarcinoma! It's been fantastic leading this with Dian Yang & Sun_Dawei, and enjoying a long-standing collaboration with Jonathan Weissman's Lab Yosef Lab & Fei Chen Lab. biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…

.@EmilyAshkin et al Monte Winslow's Lab underscore important roles of STAG2 in suppressing lung tumorigenesis & highlight a STAG2-PAXIP1/PAGR1 tumor-suppressive program that may transcend cancer type. hubs.la/Q02-Y7_D0 Haiqing Xu King L Hung Howard Chang Jesse Dixon Zhichao Xu 徐志超
