Ever tried pétanque (boules)? There is a proposal to introduce a pétanque terrain near the café in Kneller Gardens. We now have an emergency throwline in the park. Let’s hope we don’t need it but worth mentioning that the river can be deep in places, and the silty riverbed can make it difficult to get out.

On Sat 19 April at 10.30am the Mayor of Richmond, Cllr. Richard Pyne, will be in Kneller Gardens to unveil a new information board about our twin towns of Fontainebleau & Konstanz. The Whitton Community Big Band will be performing and everyone is invited so come and join the fun!

Great news! The new Petanque pitches will be available to use from 24th May. You can borrow boules from the cafe for FREE. So why not give it a go?! There will be a regular group playing on the pitches if you want to watch before trying!
