Please watch this video from CHEO Ottawa They've opened a 2nd ICU. Having adult ICUs admit patients 14+ is unlikely to help much as most sick kids are younger. When this level of ICU surge happened in the adult world we heard from our elected leaders daily....nothing when it's kids.
