I don't know who needs to hear this (I do, it's my husband), but the little cover that comes with margarine does not need to be placed back on top of the margarine after every use. Throw that away. The lid exists for a reason.

This is shocking... This is what's happening in education right now... We must do better. When did children get taken out of all decision-making? We must put children back at the heart of education.

BREAKING NEWS: OFSTED one word judgements are to be scrapped with immediate effect. Sub judgements will stay for now within reports.

Edmund Barnett-Ward (@edmund_b_w) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It is one minute past midnight, and the embargo has lifted, so here’s a thing I’ve waited nineteen months to be able to say: no school will ever receive a single-word/phrase judgement again. They are gone, they are history…

🚨 NEW: We’re scrapping single headline Ofsted judgements with immediate effect. Ofsted judgements have been high stakes for schools, low information for parents. We’ll: ✅ Give parents more transparency ✅ Drive high & rising standards ✅ Pave the way for school report cards

Another scale busting map! September rainfall for the UK. Huge variation but parts of southern England seeing over three & a half times their average rainfall. Incredibly Bedfordshire & Oxfordshire saw their wettest month (of any month) in at least 188 years.
