The very first thing I do, after saying how superb the play is, is to pose this question: A man begins the play a hero. He’s called brave. They call him ‘valour’s minion’. He’s respected. By the end he’s a hell hound, a butcher, and a tyrant. What could have happened? /2

September is the ideal time to start creating/using flashcards (little & often). If students wait until the exam season it becomes a big task workload wise & can’t be used for regular spaced retrieval practice. Q & A simple. Flash cards don’t need to be flashy! InnerDrive

So I know about Arts awards, anti bullying & mental health ambassadors etc is there anything similar for other subject areas/school life? Such as individual version of eco schools? Wellbeing ambassadors etc? Looking to enhance character offer. Suggestions & retweets welcome.

Thanks Amy Forrester for sharing this. I completely agree that heads need to have the option to exclude. This sentence however… “when exclusion is the only real way to make sure an excluded pupil can get the support they need”…is a sign of a messed up system.
