What an amazing debut album this is…

“This Could be Texas” by English Teacher is my soundtrack for the weekend and probably the rest of the year.

“Here be Giants” by Susannah Lloyd and Paddy Donnelly is a blast. Fantastically written and visually fab, it turned Storytime into a pantomime. A Joyous class share and brilliant sequel to “Here be Dragons”

Finally got a copy of “The Last Zookeeper” by Aaron Becker. I know others have shared it but I couldn’t not. The visual storytelling in this book is utterly extraordinary, it’s rich in pathos and emotion without a single word. A modern day Noah’s Ark. Magical. #PicturebookPage

This is just a classic. Such a brilliant book. It cannot be read without it turning into a proper conversation and without lots of laughing.

Fabulous #UnderTheDustJacket . It also has a prologue before the main titles. It’s beautifully designed and wonderfully illustrated. Has vigorous research and great #backmatters too. It’s also funny too boot. Top drawer Clarion Books. Anyone who loves dinosaurs needs this book

My favourite non-fiction book so far this year.
