A year on and birthday celebrations are slightly more muted - still no acknowledgment from Michael Johnson and not much tops the “nifty fifty” video from Hawksley Workman 😂 I did however have this view whilst drinking cocktails.

Great evening seeing Hawksley Workman in Brighton, worth the drive down for the all round great entertainment. Would’ve loved to be at Water Rats next week for the nostalgia of the very first gig but can’t make it.

I’m intrigued by the responses when trying to get my son advice on options whilst he applies for & starts pupilages. As soon as I mention criminal law the response is mostly don’t do it/it’s a life of poverty etc The Secret Barrister 🦋 #barristers is it really as awful as made out?
