Excited to see this work from Richard G. James and dinodicarlo measuring antibody secretion with 10x Genomics assays!
Really cool stuff Hiroshi Sasaki!!!
Impactful words by Carolyn Bertozzi today on how diversity in her trainees enabled creativity, not playing by the rules, and ultimately the work that built the field of bioorthogonal chemistry. Diverse science leads to better science!
I don't use the phrase "tour de force" lightly... but it is warranted for this preprint by Kimberly Siletti et al. that just dropped from the Sten Linnarsson lab. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
😍😍😍 Jill Herschleb showing data from a 1M cell per lane run for a total of 8M cells. She also teases this run included over 100 proteins with feature barcoding. #AGBT23
10x Genomics showing “the future of molecular cytometry” with a rapid Flex prep kit (8M cells in 6 minutes), and 137-plex protein tags with each cell’s transcriptome #AGBT23
10x Genomics roadmap includes 5,000-plex RNA probes on Xenium imaging, and allele and Isoform mapping in situ; claim of no upper bound for density of RCA probes in situ #AGBT23
Now that plexy was cool but I think most the systems can theoretically get to >5K genes. BUT this isoform and snp level analysis is very cool. I don't see any other approch able to pull this off. 10x Genomics #AGBT23
In Situ Technology has come full circle! Originally pioneered and developed in the Nilsson lab, in situ analysis / sequencing has come home in the form of two Xenium In Situ platforms from 10x Genomics. Xenium will be offered as a service by Spatial Omics platform SciLifeLab
