Anyone got an old velbon Sherpa tripod I can have the clip off that holds the quick release head!? I’m going away birding next weekend and mines just broken 😟 willing to pay obviously.

Green-winged Teal at Hill Court Farm this morning. Apparently my 200th sp in Worcs, not that I’ve been counting! Supported by Marsh Harrier, 100+ Golden Plover, and the GND at Croft Farm Water Park. @WorcsBirding

Our Ecologist Josh Toogood photographed this Jack Snipe whilst completing a non-breeding (winter) bird survey on a brownfield site. 😃These tiny birds are incredibly well camouflaged which makes them very difficult to spot!🧐 #jacksnipe #wildlife #birds RSPB BTO Garden BirdWatch

The ‘Bromsgrove M5 Flash’ as I’m terming it is still providing good flood habitat in NE Worcs. Gull numbers down since my last visit, but managed to get in on the Med Gull action amongst 85 BHG. Also 26 Pied Wagtail. Will be interesting if we have a wet spring. @WorcsBirding

March marks the start of the #BreedingBirdSurvey period. Nesting birds are found in various locations, from city centres & brownfield sites to farmland & woodland. Bird surveys inform species conservation & mitigation. 📸Josh Toogood Black Redstart, Peregrine, Little-ringed Plover
