I'm doing some work with the latest Globe Builder plugin from Gispo in QGIS and it makes it so easy to work with globe views now (base map is cloudless Sentinel-2, which they built into the tool)

Inspired by Paul Butler's famous Facebook map, I managed to wrap openflights data round a globe (with big thanks to Gispo and their very cool Globe Builder plugin) (...continuing with my 'everything we cannot do and everywhere we cannot go' map theme)
