Despite the profound sense of sadness & loss, it was an absolute privilege to attend University Of Limerick today to witness Yvonne, Niall & Aoife collect the graduation scroll for their son / brother & National Ambulance Service ๐ฎ๐ช๐ paramedic Ross Murphy (RiP) who is no longer with us. Ar dheis Dรฉ go raibh a anam.

Stephen of NAS Community was in Killarney with members of the Kerry Deaf Group recently, for a workshop on improving access to Emergency Services. He demonstrated how to access the 112 emergency text service, as well CPR and using an AED while highlighting the visual markers.

Managers from NAS Operations Support and EPRR met with our counterparts from NIAS and visited the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service Learning & Development College in Cookstown this week. We plan to continue promoting cross-border interoperability in the planning and response to emergencies.

Say hello to the new Autism Assistance Dogs IRL ๐ฎ๐ช๐พ puppies - including little Nas! Each of the services was tasked with naming a puppy, who at 8 weeks old have just begun their training with families around Ireland. Event held at AADI HQ in Cork with Ger O'Dea, Cian O'Callaghan and Ian Ring.

Our NAS Community Engagement Officer Stephen presented Killarney CRU volunteer Bridget with a small token to recognise her incredible work after she recently attended her 1000th incident. Well done to Bridget and all in Killarney for their continuing dedication to the community

Best Wishes to Con Murphy who has retired from National Ambulance Service ๐ฎ๐ช๐ after 25 years of service. Con worked for the last two years with Pathfinder Waterford as part of the Pathfinder Alternative Care Pathways team. 1/2

A great occasion today ,but tinged with sadness as we officially open the Ross Murphy memorial garden in DSC station. In memory of all NAS staff no longer with us. National Ambulance Service ๐ฎ๐ช๐ People of HSE
