My parents came here in 1960 arriving in cold smoky Birmingham. Both never out of work, community minded, supported friends and neighbours and loved life. I know they're proud of their children. Here I am with Dame Floella who inspired me as a kid. #RepresentationMatters

After the murder of George Floyd, we saw a surge in 'allyship,' which has since faded. Now we don't see as many non-Black folks speak up about the injustices we CONTINUE to face. To those who no longer raise their voices in support of us - your silence is complicit.

Proud to share the publication of the 3rd text book in the series focusing on diverse texts. It was amazing to be part of such powerful, brilliant team. I am honoured. I was privileged to write the forward.

Incredibly brave young lady #Tiwa speaking about the desperately under resourced mental health facilities. The statistics around race and poverty are quite shocking. Carol Cooper Carol Newby Morten C. Kuhl

Am I the only person who can’t withdraw my #money (‘life savings’) from my Post Office online savings account due to what seems like a computer glitch? It’s been 2 months so far. They won’t provide email address to sort this quickly & insist on me writing in via post
