Hudson NH firefighters responded to this crash involving two commercial vehicles

For the second time in a week Hudson NH firefighters requested a medical helicopter this time for a tree cutting accident

The Professional Firefighters of Hudson held another successful Muscular Dystrophy Boot Drive at the intersection of Chase and Ferry Streets today. A big thanks goes out to all the motorists who donated to this worthy cause. 

Happy Birthday to the Hudson Fire Department as today the Department begins its 132nd year of protecting the residents of Hudson.

Taking place this week in Concord is the New Hampshire Fire Explorer Academy.

Hudson Fire and Litchfield Fire and Police were recognized for their life saving work at a brief ceremony held at the Litchfield Board of Selectmen’s Meeting. The group was recognized for saving a life of a 68-year-old man who went into cardiac arrest.

At 4:15 pm Nashua Engines 2, 4, 3, Engine 5 as the RIT engine, Ladders 2, 3, C4, C2,R2, and ALS 10 were dispatched to 15 Kennedy Drive for a house fire. Engine 3 arrived on the scene and reported light smoke showing from a 2 story single family home.

After the fire was out and firefighters were picking up their equipment Nashua Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Wholey took a minute to talk with the neighborhood kids about the firefighters job.
