What is sad is that the community wants to be involved with all legislative framework. As is often the case, we are typically ignored. So, to offer some sort analogy, we have the plumbers trying to fix the electrics..!! What could possible go wrong?

A year ago Air Canada broke my wheelchair beyond repair stripping me of my independence, mobility and health.

In a video on social media I pleaded for an end to the discrimination and harm of disabled passengers.

I've read over 50 books this year, this is a glimpse of some of my favourites. My book club offers me much of my fiction supply.

Numerous airlines globally are haemorrhaging money due to archaic methods, yet it can be stopped. Air4All has the band aid it needs. Without this, fiscal punishments will only increase & spread like a virus. air4all.net .

Campaigners/lobbyists can’t help but feel moved by the sad loss of Alan Benson,a torchbearer in what he achieved. He once described to me the airport Special Assistance areas as ‘Crip Ghetto’s’ - I nearly spurted my coffee all over him, such humour. He leaves an enormous legacy

The system is broken, it will happen again. Until things change in infrastructure in the cabin and the law. It may not be Air Canada next time, but who knows. Fix the system not the passengers.!

I highly recommend Jeremy Bowen 'The Modern Middle East', it offers a greater understanding of the current crisis & the 'Circuit Board' that surrounds it -I raced through it. Please support LOOK they do incredible work works hard to make flying more accessible.

Willie Walsh's recent IATA keynote in Chicago acknowledged that realty that Maayan Ziv so eloquently has just posted. So will IATA do something tangible or just keep talking about it..? to break chairs
