Sue Johnson Day 3 of Arvon #ArvonChallenger - go for a walk and focus on what you've been writing about for the last two days - so here I was along the canal near Droitwich! Great for inspiration - and blackberries.

There's a new literary magazine in town, put together by a talented Nottingham Trent University alumnus, and it's looking for both readers and writers. If you're either - or more likely, both, click the link 👇 bit.ly/2YeOxEw

Absolute brass neck of Victoria Atkins claiming Tories want to build Whipps Cross but Labour won't on Laura Kuenssberg. Multiple Tory Ministers have turned up promising funding in past 5 years saying would be done by 2025. Her department STILL not signed works contract. Labour will.

Every day I meet people who have no ID who are worrying about their vote. Every single one has been aged between 60 and 65 so don't have their bus pass yet. If Rishi is going for this vote he might very well be stopping them voting

Travelling across Britain this week, one thing was clear: people want change. Labour is ready to deliver that change. Vote Labour on Thursday 4 July.

Days like today were made for Claire McCardell. I feel inexpressibly lucky to have been given a writing residency by the HoskingHousesTrust, staying at the beautiful cottage to focus on my work for two blissful weeks. I have stepped into a whole other life. Dress c1950 FIDM Museum

🚨 NEW: The audience laughs at Rishi Sunak when he says NHS waiting times are "coming down from when they were higher" #ITVDebate

The artificial time constraints are already annoying. These debates should last 90 minutes to 2 hours and let people finish a sentence. #ITVdebate

Would you use private healthcare if a loved one was on a waiting list? Sunak: Doesn't equivocate, a straight yes Starmer: No, my wife works in the NHS

Jon Sopel (@jonsopel) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I have to say a well constructed thirty minute head to head interview with Starmer and then another with Sunak would yield far more than this constrained but shouty debate
