told that the money will be used for the following reasons 1 to carter for our exams -we have been writing exams over the years so what changed? 2 To buy reagents -we don't make use of them. 3 To carter for logistics of examiners for those writing professional exams - it is 2/9

cartered for at the departmental level. 4. To purchase mannequins - Mannequins? it's only used by nursing students for osce exams and it's not something you purchase annually. Moreover, the ones we have are perfectly fine. This is where it gets disheartening, The student... 3/9

leaders of Faculty of Health Sciences met with their Dean Prof. Charles Ezema on the plight of the students cos the economic situation isn't favourable and many find it difficult to survive, his response was "anyone that don't have the money should go and apply for a loan" 4/9

It was obvious that there was no clear reason for this money but they keep insisting that the college doesn't remit money for them to run school affairs efficiently. bear in mind that UNN recieves the highest allocation (44 billion naira) from the federal government... 5/9

a protest nearly broke out and now we are at the same bridge again. They want to use us as their retirement plan. They made Medicine and Dentistry students pay 60,000 naira each under duress by threatening them with the results of their MBBS exam. Enough is enough. We can't.. 7/9

emergency meeting with the Deputy VC, Provost, Faculty deans and student leaders only to ask us to cancel the meeting, they then proceeded to threaten our future and try to silence our voices. (their goal is to make us accept to pay, and increase it to 100k each per session) 9/9
