We are honored to join the EU in Tanzania in celebrating #EuropeDay, reaffirming our strong commitment to advancing Tanzania’s energy sector. Through the UN Development Energy Efficiency TZ🇹🇿 project, we are investing in people—especially women—to lead a just and inclusive energy transition in #Tanzania.


Under the Energy Efficiency TZ🇹🇿 Project supported by @EuinTZ & Irish Embassy Dar , young women have received fully funded scholarships to pursue master’s degrees in sustainable energy engineering. They’ve got the power to transform the sector — clean, reliable, affordable energy starts here.





In p/ship with Nishati, Irish Embassy Dar & EU in Tanzania, this milestone is not just about numbers it’s transformational change. Certified professionals are now reducing carbon emissions, saving costs, creating #GreenJobs, & driving sustainable energy use in #Tanzania communities.

At #RenewableEnergyWeek2025, our EE Scholars joined a key panel on advancing gender equity & digital innovation in Energy Efficiency and RE. Salma Liogope, now certified in energy management, shared her inspiring journey in a male-dominated field. UNDP at EU EU in Tanzania #REW2015


Hon. Vice President Dr. Philip Mpango visited the UNDP Tanzania booth at #WorldEnvironmentDay2025 in #Dodoma. He commended the showcased electric vehicle & urged @nishati2017 to begin adopting #EVs by June 2026—a bold step toward a low-carbon,#SustainableFuture. #eMobility #WED2025
