The huge carabiner hanging off the side of my bag is purely to scratch cars parked on the pavement that I am forced to squeeze by. If it takes paint or dents bodywork, then you haven't left enough space for wheelchairs or prams to get past, and you deserve what you fucking get.

Thank God this never happens with the Gardai in Ireland.

There should be near zero tolerance for parking on pavements. Fines, then towing.

The Clontarf cycle route this morning. Tesco Ireland do this every morning (their truck is hidden behind the other illegally parked van): Block the cycle lane with trolleys and cones, forcing cyclists into the road. No enforcement. No respect.

Could this be the solution for illegal and dangerous parking on footpaths and in cycling paths in Ireland? Get soaked 🚿 + 400 euro fine + penalty poins.
