I commonly skim news reports, like everyone. Urge you not to here. It's far worse than you might have expected and the details deeply disturbing. thetimes.co.uk/article/casey-…

Glad Suella Braverman MP is committed to holding police to account. I'm creating a framework for accountability as part of Operation Soteria. One of the most important factors is to protect Judicial Review and victim's rights - both of these at risk in Bill of Rights.

'That's the thing that worries me through to my very core.' Baroness Casey tells Shelagh Fogarty it would be her 'worst nightmare' if her Met Police review is ignored 30 years from now, adding if there is no progress in the next few years, the force should be broken up.

Victims & Prisoners Bill introduced today is a missed opportunity - to move it beyond meaningless rhetoric, there need to be accountability mechanisms for when statutory entitlements are ignored, as well as free & independent legal advocacy to fight for the rights of survivors.

Great discussion by Dr Ankita Mishra about how the label 'intimate' partner violence ignores how abusers use public apparatus in their abuse, and how systems e.g. CJS who are meant to respond to violence are oppressive themselves

Brilliant to see Charlotte Herriott present her PhD research - key headline that extent of whether sexual history was part of deliberation between mock jurors depended on other rape myths (e.g. consistency, demeanor, or delayed reporting)

Great to see Charlotte Herriott on her PhD research - headline finding that extent of whether sexual history was discussed by jurors depended on presence other rape myths (e.g. consistency, demeanour, delayed reporting) Looking forward to reading the book: taylorfrancis.com/books/oa-mono/…

Today would have been my due date. So much from love, joy and pride has come from this baby. I never knew love could be unconditional or that I could miss someone I never actually met. But today I just feel his loss and acknowledge him without trying to find any consolation ❤️
