Exciting visit today! Yancheng delegation (7.2M inh.) explores #Agricola University of Groningen. Yancheng boasts Asia's vast coastal wetlands, home to migratory birds & animals. 300,000 hectares of wetlands in Yancheng municipality. 1/

Yancheng's coastal wetlands cover 291,300 hectares, housing two national nature reserves: Yancheng Rare Birds & Dafeng Milu. Red-crowned crane, globally endangered, finds refuge here. Also, 70% of milu deer, once near extinction.

Ontvangst in de Dollard van Chinese delegatie uit Yancheng die bezoek brengt aan Werelderfgoed Waddenzee. Deze stad (7 mln inwoners) ligt aan de Gele Zee, eveneens Werelderfgoed en cruciaal voor de oostelijke flyway van trekvogels. Erg belangrijk deze internationale uitwisseling!
