What a day! Hard physically and mentally. But 45 miles 7000ft ascent in 12 hours 12 mins. Really was tough & sheer determination kept m going. So proud of 12th woman (out of 39) and 32nd overall!

A quick straw poll of my 24 most local acute trusts; 23 had male medical directors from their websites. This is the data showing power imbalance & leads to blind spots! Change needs female representation at top levels of organisational leadership with active removal of barriers.
