It was truly inspiring listening to @liamherrick's keynote, and the incredible and tireless campaigners and advocates this evening at Irish Human Rights & Equality Commission's 10 Years 'Marking a Milestone'.

Digesting the long awaited guidelines from the Department of Education this evening. Whilst there are some positive points to mention, the guidelines fall disapointingly and worryingly short of protecting children in a rights based way from the harms of restraint in school.
