The 2022 NCAA Student Athlete Well- Being report stated that 56% of athlete enter the transfer portal because of conflicts they had with coaches & teammates. Although its the #2 reason according to the NCAA, It has been the #1 struggle my clients face when building culture.

It starts with a Motto or Mission Statement! Every time I enter a new program the first thing I ask them is do they have pillars, standards, or non-negotiables. I usually get 👀🦗. Culture struggle because they don’t have a shared definition of standards or a motto to buy-into
